Oh Karen! Lovely to hear from you ... it's that time of our lives, isn't it?

Indeed it is...we just celebrated my mother's 90th birthday this past weekend. She was 90 2/21, I will be 60 3/22 and my daughter (and first born) will be 30 in September. So happy to be able to celebrate with her! I know only too well that nothing is promised. I still miss my dad the waves of grief are more like a gentle ripple but even that can sometimes bring me to tears. Take good care of you!

Reading your words did my heart good, Charlotte! Even though I am south of you (in Northern New Mexico), we are still very much in the depth of winter here as well. And how good it is to be reminded of all the ways the sun, the life force, is returning into our world, as it has done since time immemorial. I love reading about the creative surges you feel coming up through you. Thank you for the winter gift.
